SMART
UVs are watertight and safe to operate both in
and outdoors. SMART UV's are designed for fresh
or saltwater aquariums and pond applications.
Each SMART UV is constructed of heavy wall, UV
resistant plastic that increases durability and
longevity. Each model is designed around its lamp
length and UV output, maximizing the contact time
between the target microorganism (algae, bacteria,
protozoa) and the UV lamp. Only SMART UV's offer
a safe, watertight UL and cUL listed designs.
Recommended
applications
SMART UV Sterilizers are designed for fresh/saltwater
aquarium applications up to 700 gallons and pond
applications up to 15,000 gallons. |

SMART
Ballast
All models feature our SMART Ballast which delivers
precise input wattage to the UV lamp, maximizes UV-C output,
resists failure due to water damage and comes with a 26
ft. cord. |
Easy
to Remove Power Assembly
Allows both the quartz sleeve and UV lamp to be removed
together (without quartz sleeve / rubber gasket disassembly),
or by removing the assemblies jamb nut, the UV lamp can
be replaced without interrupting the flow of water through
the unit. |

"Green
Water" Flow Rates
Why are our water flow rates so much lower than each of
our competitors? Unlike our competitors who over rate their
UVs, our water flow recommendations are based on turbid
"green water" conditions that may exist during installation.
Maximum flow rate represents the lamp performance at 100%,
suggested flow rate represents lamp performance at the end
of useful life (80% efficient). |
