Atomizer
Ozone Contactor
Constructed of heavy-wall PVC, each model
features a clear reaction chamber or view
ports for internal monitoring. All models
are equipped with a controlled venturi injection
system and pressure gauge. These units are
available in larger sizes as well. The easy-to-assemble
water inlet manifold, pressure gauge, venturi
injector, and removable lid and spray nozzles
are designed for quick servicing.

solubility in water is affected by many
variables, such as ozone concentration in
the gas form, temperature of the water to
be treated, and the method of contact between
the ozone gas and the water. Even by the
best methods, ozone is partially soluble
in water, and therefore each method must
be considered while keeping these variables

is a new technology in contacting gases
with water.

The low-pressure reactor is fed by a venturi injection
system, using its vacuum as the oxygen/ozone introduction.
Using full cone spray nozzles, the incoming water/gas
mixture is dispersed via the nozzles. As this mixture
is fed into the vessel, the gas under pressure (apx.
5 to 10 psi) consumes at least 2/3 of the space inside
the vessel while the tiny water droplets are forced
through it. This method is far superior to that of the
bubbling (air stone) method. The atomizer does exactly
what its name implies; it atomizes the treated water
into a gas vapor under low pressure.
Recommended
Application
The Emperor Aquatics Atomizer is suited for applications
requiring flow rates up to 50 gpm. We recommend ozone
being used with freshwater only. Larger contactor's
